CINZIA PARISI

Dr. Cinzia Parisi, clinical and forensic psychologist and psychotherapist, practices as a professional in psycho-forensic settings, especially with appointment by officers of Justice such as prosecutors and preliminary investigations judge (GIP) during the different stages of the proceeding.

 

Parisi practices her profession by listening to minors during closed hearings, both victims or persons of interest, and as an expert, especially in the assessment of the capacity of the minor to act as a witness.

 

She works as a psychodiagnostics auxiliary with many psychiatrists in the field of expert assessments of the full possession of one’s mental faculties, of one’s social danger and on the compatibility with the prison system.

 

In order to extend her competences concerning the parenting skills assessment and their recoverability, during June 2020 she attended the course “Psicologia giuridica. Separazione/divorzio e affido dei minori, valutazione delle competenze genitoriali” (Legal psychology. Separation/divorce and child custody, parental skills assessment).

 

Since May 2018 she has been focusing her skills on a careful and precise psychodiagnostics assessment of adults reported by Child Protection Services territorial jurisdiction in particularly complex and troubled cases.

 

Cinzia Parisi deals with patients with borderline personality disorder, handling suicidal-tendencies and acts in favor of troubled teens.

 

Moreover, she also exercises her activity in private clinics applying what she learned thanks to her Analytical psychotherapy training.
